(4/11/18) - Met up with super producer Zaytoven and his manager Al Nuke yesterday at a studio in Hollywood. Zaytoven's debut album "Trap Holizay" is coming out on May 25, and Zay and his team are getting ready for the release. When I arrived at the studio Zay and Nuke were planning and working with a few Bay Area artists. There were a lot of creative people in the room. Legendary photographer, Mike Miller was also in the studio with us. Mike and Zaytoven had just finished an epic photo shoot, which turned out very well. Zaytoven's longtime manager and partner Al Nuke also speaks about his role as a artist manager as well as some of the struggles that he goes thru managing an in-demand music producer.

Life of Artist Manager: NBA Youngboy In Atlanta

(2/2/18) - Met with 18-Year-Old Louisiana Rapper Youngboy Never Broke Again and his team yesterday at Lenox Mall in Atlanta, GA. Youngboy has been on the rise ever since releasing a string of mixtapes and the music video to his popular song "38 Baby". Youngboy was in ATL the other day, recording new music and handling some business. I got a chance to have a meeting with his team and I also gave them some new beats from some of the upcoming producers that I work with. I also got a chance to hear NBA Baby Joe's new music, that should be getting released, real soon. Youngboy also had the new McLaren 570GT on the streets! Definitely look forward to linking up with the NBA crew again in the future.

This line of work can be very rewarding, if your work begins to pay off, but what do you do if it doesn't pay off as soon as you'd expect? Do you quit and get a regular job or do you stay persistent and keep working on your craft until you reach the payday that you feel you deserve? These are questions that you need to ask yourself before becoming an entrepreneur and starting your own business or brand. Entertainment Lawyers & The Music Business (How To NOT Get RIPPED OFF)

At some point, when your project starts to take off, you may need a lawyer to help you understand some of the contracts that may be coming your way. You don’t really need a lawyer, and any information that you seek is an Internet search away, but if you have access to a good entertainment lawyer, then I’d recommend keeping one on speed dial. You better hope you have some sort of understanding with the lawyer also. Some lawyers will turn the clock on and charge you for every minute that you speak with them. Be very careful not to retain a lawyer’s services until you can afford it, or it seems absolutely necessary. Some lawyers may talk with you for hours, while you’re oblivious that their rate clock is on. Everyone is in the game to make money, just like you are and if you think a lawyer is giving you free information, either you’re very lucky, or you better think twice. How can you make money with your music video besides monetizing it on YouTube? That's the question that every artist wants to know! In this video, I give you several proven techniques that you can apply, which will help you generate extra revenue from your music video productions. Product placement is a great way to generate revenue through your music video. You can promote products in your video, and then sell those products, using links in your music video description.
