(6/23/16) - At the 2016 ASCAP Rhythm & Soul Awards (https://www.ascap.com/news-events/awards/2016/rhythmsoul-awards) taking photos on the red carpet. Rapper Kid Ink, Neyo, Tank, Wale, Tribe Called Quest, Andre 3000 and many more were in attendance. We were honored to win an ASCAP award for having one of the top songs of the year. The highlight of the Awards came at night's end, when hip-hop legends A Tribe Called Quest were honored with our Golden Note Award, presented by AndrĂ© 3000 of Outkast. Tribe members Q-Tip, Ali Shaheed Muhammad and Jarobi White accepted their awards with grace, and paid tribute to their bandmate Phife Dawg, who passed away earlier this year. The night ended with a celebration of ATCQ’s legacy, led by surprise guest Busta Rhymes, who performed Tribe classics "Check the Rhime," "Scenario" and more.

(6/1/16) - On this day, we headed to Malibu to shoot a music video for a new artist that I recently signed. I met with photographer Ola Bakare (http://instagram.com/obkre) and he was also planning to take some photos of Nizhoni Cooley (http://instagram.com/nizhonicooley), on this day. Nizhoni is a well known YouTube personality and social media influencer. Months after shooting this, Nizhoni also starred in Kevin Gates "Time For That" music video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gztnxq2lUo8). We moved as quickly as we could because the water level were starting to rise on the beach. We had fun and the shoot turned out well. Check out some of the behind the scenes footage from the music video.
