Getting Knocked Down In The Music Business

In this video, I talk about failure and getting knocked down in the music and entertainment business. This line of work can be very rewarding, if your work begins to pay off, but what do you do if it doesn't pay off as soon as you'd expect? Do you quit and get a regular job or do you stay persistent and keep working on your craft until you reach the payday that you feel you deserve? These are questions that you need to ask yourself before becoming an entrepreneur and starting your own business or brand. Will you let negative situations discourage you or will you take a bad situation and turn it into a good one? In this video, I share my thoughts on getting knocked down.

Entertainment Lawyers & The Music Business (How To NOT Get RIPPED OFF)

At some point, when your project starts to take off, you may need a lawyer to help you understand some of the contracts that may be coming your way. You don’t really need a lawyer, and any information that you seek is an Internet search away, but if you have access to a good entertainment lawyer, then I’d recommend keeping one on speed dial. You better hope you have some sort of understanding with the lawyer also. Some lawyers will turn the clock on and charge you for every minute that you speak with them. Be very careful not to retain a lawyer’s services until you can afford it, or it seems absolutely necessary. Some lawyers may talk with you for hours, while you’re oblivious that their rate clock is on. Everyone is in the game to make money, just like you are and if you think a lawyer is giving you free information, either you’re very lucky, or you better think twice. In this video I talk about conflict of interest and tortious interference.

How 21 Savage Used SOCIAL MEDIA MARKETING To Get RICH & FAMOUS!!!

http://socialmediamarketingmakeover.com - Here's a short documentary film about how Atlanta rapper 21 Savage became rich, famous and successful, simply by using Social Media Marketing. In this film, I will show you the exact steps 21 Savage took to become one of the most streamed music artists in the World! 21 Savage started out as a hype man for rapper Fatmankey and ManMan Savage. During the success of the iLoveMakonnen & Drake “Tuesday” project, 21 started to notice an opening for himself. 21 started his career as a rapper in late 2014 and recorded a few songs with iLoveMakonnen, who I was managing at the time. 21 would soon partner with frequent iLoveMakonnen collaborators, Sonny Digital and Metro Boomin and the rest is history. 21 Savage soon recorded the hit song “Red Opps” with Sonny Digital and he would later start recording songs with Metro Boomin. Soon after working with Metro, him and rapper Future collaborated on the hit song “X”, which would eventually land 21 Savage a RIAA Double Platinum Record. 21 Savage continued his success with songs like "No Heart", "Rockstar" with Post Malone and "Bank Account", and he has already sold upwards of 10 million singles. 21 Savage's "Savage Mode" & "ISSA" albums both are currently certified RIAA Gold. 21 Savage’s success was not overnight. His ambition along with the power of Social Media played the biggest part in his success.
