Prestley Snipes Artist Signs with Drake's Record Label OVO
Less than 3 years after meeting this guy online, and signing him to a management agreement, Prestley Snipes secured a Major Record Deal for his artist, with Multi-Platinum selling rapper Drake and his OVO/Warner Music imprint.

(8/20/14) - This was around the time Drake made the remix to "Tuesday" and the major label bidding war started for my artist at the time, iLoveMakonnen. We went to Shade45 offices in Manhattan to do a radio interview on Sway In The Morning. Super Producer Metro Boomin was also doing an interview on this day. Producer TM88, Ca$h Out, DJ Lil Keem and Propane were also in the building this day. Check out this rare footage I shot during this interview with the legendary Sway Calloway.

(8/19/14) - On this day, Drake invited us to the Drake Vs. Lil Wayne concert stop in Forest Hills Stadium. This was a right before we closed the record deal with OVO/Warner Brother Records.
MTV Studios NYC [Life of Artist Manager]
(8/19/14) - Unreleased footage during an MTV interview, at the Viacom building in New York City. This was right after Drake remixed "Tuesday" and the major label bidding war begin for the artist I was managing at the time, iLoveMakonnen. Makonnen would later sign a deal with Drake's OVO label and get Nominated for a Grammy Award. "Tuesday" also ended up going multi-platinum. A couple months after this interview, I stopped managing Makonnen, after securing the OVO/Warner record deal. Check out this rare and unreleased footage.

The FADER Music Video [Life of Artist Manager]
On this day, The FADER magazine editor-in-chief, Duncan Cooper aka 'Wildarms', was in Atlanta, hanging out with us. Duncan was working on a story about Makonnen's sudden rise to success. This was right after the "Tuesday" song blew up and we were getting radio rotation. Father and the Awful Records crew planned to shoot the music video for "Vodka On The Weekend" on this day, so we decided to have a BBQ. Duncan and a cameraman chilled with us and even made cameos in the finished music video. It started raining, but the video still turned out alright. We got kicked out the first grocery store because we came in looking like a news team, with three or four DSLR cameras. (7/13/14) - On this day we traveled to Saugerties, NY for The Hudson Project Music Festival. It was a rainy day and it got very muddy. We met with Rome Fortune, his manager Mike Boyd and Bekim Trevova. Later on that night we went to a house party up the hill and Rome performed. It was an interesting day for sure.

(7/12/14) - Met up in Manhattan with Boston rappers Michael Christmas, Cousin Stizz, and their managers Goodwin and Tim Larew. Goodwin is also an accomplished video director and Tim Larew is a writer and blogger who owns a popular Boston Hip Hop blog called "TheFreshHeir" (https://thefreshheir.wordpress.com). This is around the time Makonnen's buzz in the streets was at an all time high. We had just released the ILOVEMAKONNEN EP on July, 4 and the streets were talking. Life of Artist Manager: Tuesday Video Before Drake

(6/1/14) - On this day, I was in Atlanta getting ready to appear in the "Club Goin Up On A Tuesday" music video. This was the version that we released prior to Drake adding a verse to the song. Uncle Leff (https://instagram.com/youngankle) of Vincent Lou Films shot, directed and edited the video. We started off getting some shots at an apartment in the city. I performed my part of the song in the video, singing the background vocals. Later on that night, we finished the video on a rooftop near downtown Atlanta. Lots of pretty girls showed up and Super Producer TM88 (http://instagram.com/tm88) also made a cameo.
