Lots of details left out of this story. JPrice, the producer of the "Money Way" song, discovered Lil Tay in December 2017. In January 2018, we started planning and developing a music project with Lil Tay. At that point, we started writing and producing songs for Lil Tay. On FaceTime and through text messages, JPrice and I coached Lil Tay, and her brother Jason, on how to record music, at home, using GarageBand software. After writing a few songs, and sending a few beats and a reference track to Lil Tay's brother, the "Money Way" song was created. JPrice then mixed the rough vocals and we released the song on YouTube on March 15, 2018. As of today, the Lil Tay "Money Way" song has accumulated over 5 million streams. As early as February 2018, I was in discussion with Lil Tay's mother, regarding doing a joint venture together, but before we could get a working agreement in writing, we lost contact with Lil Tay and her mother, Angela.
