Why HATE Is GOOD For Social Media Marketing

In this video, I discuss hate and how you can manipulate other's use of hate, to propel your brand. When someone "dislikes" your content on social media websites, that is a form of engagement. Engagement is the online catalyst that converts prospects to customers, customers to loyal customers, and loyal customers to vocal brand advocates. You want as much engagement on your content, as possible, whether it's likes, dislikes, comments or shares. The goal is to leave an impression in people's minds. The ultimate goal, isn't to be hated. The goal is to get your message across. There's a saying, "Love me or hate me, both are in my favor. If you love me, I will always be in your heart and if you hate me, I will be in your mind." YouTube, Facebook, Instagram and most popular social media websites, use likes and dislikes as an engagement metric. The more engagement that you receive on your content, the more your content is promoted. Videos or photos that get lots of engagement, is what YouTube, Facebook & Instagram (and most social media websites and apps) looks for, when considering to promote your content. These websites/apps only want the most engaging content on their front page display, because engaging content, keeps visitors on their website longer, which in the internet advertising world is called, "bounce rate". Therefore, dislikes and hate, are actually good, when it comes to social media marketing. Check out this video where I give my two cents on hate, haters, internet engagement, likes and dislikes. Thanks for watching and feel free to leave your feedback on this topic.
